MY MISSION:

As the only cinematographer in this film, I was responsible for achieving artistic and technical decisions related to the image. In other words, my role here is to ensure the placement of the camera and lighting were set properly whenever the whole crew was ready to shoot.
I also played the role of video editor after we were done with shooting section. The challenge that I had encountered in this part was to colour correct the raw footages. As we shot this film during winter time back to 2016, the outdoor lighting changed quite dramatically every time when my crew headed out for shooting. We would had a sunny day and decent lighting lasted for couple hours and then it would had turned to completely dark and rainy weather in just a second. No doubt, it shown in our raw footages, so I had to work and match them coincidently for our final film.
Premiere Pro - Color Correction

Before and After

The original shot did not have enough cool tone and proper temperature, so I color corrected it by using Fast Color Corrector; as a result, made the undertone bluish and cold to match the sad narrative. I also applied the creative look under the Lumetric Color Effect called FUJI ETERNA 250D Kodak 2395 (by Adobe) through the whole film as an adjustment layer.
